Title: Start a process / Process status
IMPORTANT: You must have the "Automated processes" module to access these functions.
Introduction
When you have finished configuring your process, you can start it immediately or at a later date.
Start a process
Go to the process which needs to be started ("Mailings" menu, "Automated processes", double-click on the desired process).
Then click on the button to start the process.
A confirmation window will appear, allowing you to validate the number or recipients included in the start list.
You can then decide whether to start the process.
Programming a process
CAUTION: It is strongly recommended that you update Prodon to version 5.0.15 before using the program a process function
Go to the process which needs to be programmed ("Mailings" menu, "Automated processes", double-click on the desired process).
In the "Start on" field, enter the date and time of programming and "Start" your process.
Archive a process
You can also set an end date for the process in the "Archive on:" field.
Any action will then be stopped within the process. For example, a client who is at one stage halfway through the process will not continue with the remaining stages to the end.
Process status
Draft
When you create a new process, the status is set to "Draft" .
This status should only be used during process creation and until you are ready to start the process.
After starting the process, you must not return it to "Draft".
Start
To start a process, click on the "Start" button .
You will then no longer have access to modify process configurations.
If you need to make any changes to the process, you can pause it.
Pause
A process can be paused at any time .
Clients who have already entered the process will be frozen at their current stage.
This status can be used if you wish to make changes to the process after starting it.
When your process is paused, you can restart it at any time.
Clients will then continue through the process.
Progressive stop
When you want to terminate a process, and there are clients who need to complete the process, you can put it into a progressive stop .
This status is chosen when you want all clients who are in the process to complete it normally.
However, no new clients will be able to enter this process.
When your process is in progressive stop mode, you can restart it at any time.
Archive
If you wish to terminate a process, click on the button to archive the process.
It will still be possible to consult the process and modify it if necessary.
If you restart a process after archiving it, the process will restart where it was when you archived it.
So if a client has gone through the whole process and reached the end, they will not start again.
